Skies, in all my bewilderment, I seek your answers, the open fields of absence which I so dearly long for. Allow me the space to breathe and think tonight, find peace and hope. Clouds, your limits are unknowable, allow me to rest within the space of your world, as I seek to begin another day, far from the tragedy of this solemn day. Earth, sweet ground, allow me to leave you for a moment to be without you, just a moment here in the sky. I will come to know you better, more truly, if I may only rest within these open fields, for a minute, a lifetime, a moment yet to give.
